If you want to head to the nearest town for shopping or dining, check out Gualala, which is just four miles to the north. The community features miles of bluff-top and forest trails, tidepools, two heated community pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, and The Sea Ranch Lodge with its restaurant, lounge and café. Getting around The drive from San Francisco is approximately 2.5 hours via Highway 101 to Highway 1. Fly into Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, about 1.5 hours east, and rent a car. The Highway 1 drive along the coast is spectacular and worth building into your travel day. Other things to note Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.
