Steven and I have made Oak Park Inn our home and business for over 20 years. I spent most of my professional career in the hospitality industry and apply my knowledge of the industry to our enterprise. Guests are treated as an extension of our family, and are made comfortable at check-in. We pride ourselves on knowledge of the area, and attempt to provide unique experiences to all of our travelers. Our inn is charming, campy, and the grounds are a reflection of my love of gardening. We have attempted to maintain the original character of the Hopkins estate whenever possible. The entire property is considered historically significant by the Wisconsin Historical Society, and we value the original design, materials used as well as the character of the home, carriage house, motor lodge and grounds. Moderately priced, clean, quiet and comfortable best describe our inn. We host many reunions, tours, groups annually at the inn, with a majority of our guests returning when visiting the area for family, business or pleasure. Located within driving distance of Minneapolis/St Paul, Madison, WI, Milwaukee and Chicago great place to conveniently gather for families and friends. Every season provides unique experiences for the fortunate traveler who passes our way. Over 500+ miles of paved bicycle loops, many departing from the gates of the inn provide challenging riding as well as limited traffic, for maps and more info. Nearby communities host harvest festivals, craft fairs and art tours. Orchards specializing in regional apples, offer tractor and wagon rides, or pick your own pumpkins. Winter provides the best bow and rifle deer hunting in the state. Over 2700 acres of conservation land are open to licensed hunters during certain seasons. We are also known for our turkey hunting fall/spring and if provided snowmobile trails thru private wooded lands. Spring/summer the area offers an assortment of breweries and wineries, each with a unique brand. We can also provide information on parks, farm experiences, and museums for the entire family.

Accommodation choices include 3 Carriage House suites located in the building adjacent to the main house or 6 historic hillside Motor Lodge guest rooms. Each guest room has a private bath and entrance, all quest rooms are non-smoking. Individual temperature control in each room, there are no guest rooms in the main house. Safe, charming, clean, quiet are adjectives our guests most commonly use to describe our unique establishment.
