Gualala Point Regional Park offers stunning beach access, kayaking on the Gualala River, and miles of coastal bluff trails. Getting around Gualala is approximately 2.5 hours north of San Francisco via Highway 101 to Highway 1, right on the Mendocino-Sonoma County border. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport at roughly 90 minutes east. A car is recommended -- Highway 1 is one of the world's great coastal drives.
