It is conveniently situated just five minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, making it perfect for year-round activities. In the winter, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, or tubing; during warmer months, take advantage of the mountain bike trails and disc golf course. Beech Mountain also hosts a summer concert series and offers scenic lift rides to its slope-top bar at 5,506 feet. The Buckeye Recreation Center, just a short 12-minute drive away, features basketball, tennis, and racquetball courts, a playground, and a lake for fishing and paddle boating. Additionally, Banner Elk, located 6 miles away, offers attractions such as Banner Elk Winery, Lees-McRae College, and the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster. *Allows pets with an additional fee.
