Rather than managing a large portfolio, we intentionally keep things limited so each property—including Paws at the Peak—gets the attention it deserves. What sets us apart is the level of care we put into both the home and the guest experience. We also personally spend time at the property, so decisions are made from real experience—not guesswork. Being just minutes from Beech Mountain Resort means you can quickly get to hiking, mountain biking, or scenic lift rides, while still enjoying a quieter, less crowded atmosphere back at the house. A short drive down the mountain brings you to Banner Elk, where guests love the relaxed mix of restaurants, wineries, and breweries. Spots like Banner Elk Winery and Kettell Beerworks are easy favorites for a laid-back afternoon. For a bit more variety, Boone offers additional dining, shopping, and a lively college-town feel. For outdoor experiences, the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain provide some of the most scenic views in the region, along with well-known hiking trails and overlooks. Closer to home, the Emerald Outback trail system offers convenient access to trails without needing to leave Beech Mountain.
