Aloha! Our property is an eco-friendly, totally off grid house/cottages with a breathtaking, mesmerizing, 180 degree sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean, solution to a worry free, quiet, adventurous getaway south of Naalehu, Hawaii. Situated on a 23 acres of rolling grass lands. This property is powered by solar, from electricity to water. A smoke free environment. We have a pet cat(Cougar) and a dog (Aka), that will greet you every single moment you’re here at the property. We have 3 rooms at the moment named, Pele, Kane and Kanaloa. These cottages are named from the mythology of Hawaii’s gods and goddesses. Pele’s room is located at the first floor of the two story building with its own private entrance and private outdoor greenhouse bathroom (with hot and cold shower),kitchen(basic things) and a deck. Kane is the latest addition to the property only 3 months old, has its own bathroom (with hot and cold shower)and kitchenette (basic things)inside the cabin and an outside deck with table and chairs. Kanaloa is our sort of glamping style cabin, it has a table and chairs inside and an outside composting toilet( no flush) and a beach shower(cold shower only). All the rooms are non smoking and equipped with a queen size bed. Guests book this place to experience the serenity, seclusion, quietness, meditation and the magnificent night sky with no light pollution. There’s two things to be carefully consider before booking this place, sometimes it gets so windy(southpoint area) and a mile of gravel dirt road going to the place which most of our guests doesn’t mind at all. We’re a couple who loves to entertain families, friends, acquaintances and like to offer our place to those who needs to get out of the city and be with nature, enjoy quiet walks, watch the moon and stars with the stunning milky way, and enjoy the neighboring tourist spot on the island. We love to talk to our guests, give suggestions about itinerary and so on! Pele’s Eye property is 8 miles from the Southpoint cliff and the greensand beach and 18 miles to Punaluu black sand beach. Around 9.5 miles to the town where you can dine most of the southern bakery, restaurant and farmers market in the US. We’re 34 miles to the Volcano National Park. The nearest neighbor is half a mile from the property, the apartments/cottages are inside the 23 acres private property.
