Hi! Seth and Emmye are hosts for unique homes atop Lookout Mountain. In 2018, we went on an adventure to find our first home and job after college. The first tiny home we stayed in made us fall in love with this area, community, and a new concept of living. The property features a heated pool that reaches temperatures comparable to a hot tub, a covered front porch with seating, and a propane fire pit, creating the perfect setting to relax and take in the stunning sunrises and sunsets. Inside, the cottage comfortably accommodates families or small groups with a master bedroom on the main floor featuring a queen bed and two closets, while the loft—perfect for kids—offers two full beds along with a cozy table and floor poufs. The full bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, complete with both drip and Keurig coffee makers, an electric stove, oven, microwave, cookware, and dinnerware, make extended stays convenient and comfortable. Guests can also enjoy WiFi, a TV with DVD player, and a selection of board games for indoor entertainment. The Happy Cow Cottage is perfectly positioned for both adventure and convenience. Guests are just minutes from popular hiking spots including DeSoto Falls, DeSoto State Park, and Little River Canyon National Preserve, while nearby towns such as Valley Head and Fort Payne provide grocery options and local dining.
