Located at the southern entrance to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. River Falls Lodging has three charming rustic units with modern convenience. On nearly three acres, there is room for privacy, playing games, picnic areas, hiking up the ridge behind or wading in the lovely warm spring fed river. We are family and pet friendly. Please be sure to look at the pictures for each type of unit to be sure it will meet your needs.
The owner/manager, Sue, grew up in North Dakota, spent most of her adult life in Colorado. Since moving to South Dakota, she took up basket making. Her baskets are fashioned from pine needles off the local Ponderosa Pine trees and adorned with natural local plants, feathers or beads. She began sharing her home and guest cabin with the world as Vacation Rentals in 2004 and has enjoyed the many wonderful guests since then.
Local attractions include: Angostura Reservoir Recreation area, The Wild Horse Sanctuary, Evans Plunge Pool with natural mineral waters, The Mammoth Site, Wind Cave, Cascade Springs, many lovely parks and we are within a day trip to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the entire Black Hills and Badlands areas.
