It features 17’ cathedral ceilings, 2 comfortable king beds and 2 twin beds with top-of-the-line memory foam mattresses and a queen sleeper sofa, all with crisp linens, tankless water heater, leather and antique furniture, keyless entry, washer and dryer, copper sinks, blackout curtains, 3 smart TV’s, Wi-Fi, large, covered decks where guests can enjoy watching the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) in the winter or BBQ their favorite meats and vegetables! The entire cabin is plumbed with a water filter and softener. There’s a game table in the loft with a variety of games to choose from! With over 860 square feet, there is enough room to bring your family and/or friends and stretch out and enjoy your home away from home. Moose love to meander through the property, so please keep your distance! Fishing is encouraged during the summer months. King salmon are catch and release only; silver salmon can be caught and enjoyed!

Houston is a small community just outside Wasilla! A paved walking and biking path winds past the front of the property for your enjoyment, and with the serenity of the river in the back yard of the property, the hustle and bustle of a busy life will melt away as you sit by the campfire or drop a line in the water! We have a 3 Bears across the street where you can purchase fuel, a few groceries and even your fishing license! We love Miller's Market for their delicious lattes, ice cream and burgers!
