I'm what you would call an "Accidental Host"". My skills as a professional photographer lead me to meeting with a local homeowner that lead to me forming Desert Vacation dot Rentals, LLC and managing multiple properties in California, Maine, New York and France. I've been a resident here in the desert for more than 30 years and counting. Joshua Tree National Park is my "church" and my photography muse. I love sharing my passion for this arid landscape with visitors from all over the world. Whether it be sharing some of my favorite locations in the park or dining at one of our local restaurants. There's more here to do than meets the eye. I encourage you to connect with locals and experience as much of this unique landscape while you are here. This 2-bedroom desert escape sits on five acres just over a mile from the North Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, surrounded by wide-open views and minimal light pollution. Guests will travel a short distance on a dirt road before reaching the property, where peaceful nights under the stars await. Inside, the spacious living room offers plenty of seating, a Roku-connected big screen TV, and a Sonos sound bar, with the option to log in to your own streaming accounts. The main bedroom includes a king bed and television, while the second offers a full bed. Please note: the home has only one bathroom, and it is located inside the main bedroom. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with bench seating and double vanity sinks. A fully equipped kitchen and dining area for six make it easy to enjoy meals together. Outdoors, you’ll find multiple patios with seating, a breezeway dining space, lounge chairs for stargazing, a propane BBQ, and a rock-lined firepit perfect for desert evenings.
