We maintain a little homestead on .75 acres. There are multiple gardens of vegetables to fruit trees and berry bushes. We also, raise chickens and quail on premise. The house was built in 1916 and my grandfather bought it with his GI money from the army. The space were you will be staying was a den that my grandparents put on as an add on bedroom for my uncle when they had children. My husband and I have demolished and remodeled the space as master bedroom for us, and the kids were upstairs. But now the kids are all grown and we decided to add a shower and turn the space into an air b and b. I am a 3rd generation owner of this house. Which is just off set a park, so there a lot of birds and wildlife to see. Trees surround the property.

Our homestead is hidden on a quiet, windy road lined with trees and nature. It lies just outside a large park surrounded by trees and wildlife galore. You wouldn't know it was here unless you knew a person who lived on this street. Very quiet and relaxing. But, yet 5 min from major expressway which takes you 20 min to get to anywhere in Rochester or 5 min to downtown Rochester to the hustle and bustle of restaurants, bars, music venues and theatres.
