My husband and I purchased this property when it was nearly in ruins, but we saw the incredible potential it held for our family’s future. We decided to take on the challenge and renovate everything ourselves one day at a time. It was a true labor of love; I even walked away with "tennis elbow" from installing the floors myself! We started this journey with a lot of prayer and many hours watching renovation videos, as we had never done anything like this before. There were moments of tears and exhaustion, but we trusted in God with all our hearts to guide us through the process. We were also blessed by the generosity of dear friends who gifted us the kitchen, refrigerator, lights and fence to help bring our vision to life. One of my favorite personal touches is the accent wall in the patio, which I hand-painted using a collection of paint samples! Every corner of this home has been built with care, prayer, and dedication. Our goal was to create a cozy sanctuary where you can feel a sense of deep peace and tranquility the perfect place to recharge your energy while on vacation.
