Gualala Point Regional Park offers stunning beach access, kayaking on the Gualala River, and miles of coastal bluff trails. Getting around Gualala is located on the Mendocino-Sonoma County border, about 2.5 hours north of San Francisco via Highway 101 to Highway 1. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, roughly 90 minutes east. A car is recommended. Highway 1 offers one of California's most spectacular coastal drives. Other things to note Streaming TV services require guest accounts to access. An electric car charger is available for guest use. Visit in spring for wildflower season -- the hills above Gualala and the river trails burst with lupine and California poppies. June through September brings the warmest weather.
