Reconnect yourself to nature in our cabin with a streamside view. Close to Skiing and cute country towns. Countryside living with designer touches. Lounge on the deck under the trees, and be calmed by the sounds of the stream. Dine alfresco or sit by the firepit. Get cozy watching the forest from our picture windows. Play records from our vinyl collection in the vaulted, light-filled, living space. For Pet info and early check-in read our House Rules. PLEASE NOTE: 4-Wheel Drive is highly recommended in winter months.
We believe in the importance of connecting to nature, of re-wilding, of retreating inward to find ourselves. Living a creative life and taking care of our forest, our community and each other. We may or may not be staying next door to meet the guests in person.
The house is tucked away at the end of a private road with just a few other houses nearby. The town of Phoenicia has shops, a flea market, a farmers market, farm stands, great places to eat and drink like the Phoenicia Diner and Woodstock Brewery. Near hiking, skiing, fly-fishing, and more. The Menla Mountain Retreat center with Dewa spa is right up the road. Besides dipping your feet in the stream, the house is in walking distance of a few swimming holes. 4-wheel drive is recommended in winter. Driving is recommended.
