The Sevier River Retreat is a secluded and luxurious ranch house that sits on 9 acres surrounded by the Sevier River on 3 sides, and close to Bryce Canyon and Zion. The house looks directly at the back of Bryce Canyon and the Sevier River. Most windows in the house have a view, and there are no neighbors. The property was entirely renovated, decorated and furnished in 2015 with an neo-industrial/farm style mixing wood and metal. The house features accents of barnwood (most of it from the property itself) and many of the furniture pieces and lighting fixtures were custom made from local artisans using reclaimed barnwood. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (the master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and separate tiled shower) and a half bath, with a size of approximately 1800 sf.

I was born in Germany, grew up in France and moved to Las Vegas in 2002. I enjoy the outdoors and all our great National Parks in the area and have been exploring the well known parks as well as many lesser known or hidden places for the last 14 years. I will be happy to share advice on places to see, in order to make your stay unique and memorable!

The following Parks / Monuments can each be seen within a half or full day trip from the retreat: - Bryce Canyon National Park - Red Canyon - Zion National Park - Cedar Breaks National Monument (Close in the winter) - Duck Creek - Grand Staircase Escalante - Grand Canyon (North Rim) - Lake Powell National Recreation Area, and its majestic sandstone cliffs - Pink Coral Sand Dunes State Park - Buckskin Gulch Slot Canyon (longest one in the US) - The Wave (requires permit from BLM) - Best Friends animal sanctuary (free tours) - Brian Head Ski Resort (during the winter season) - Horseback riding (available in Bryce Canyon) - ATV rentals (summer) and snowmobile rentals (winter) Of course, you could also stay home and fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim on the property itself, hike, bike or ATV on many trails nearby, some right outside the property.
