Located at the base of Lookout Mountain just minutes from Ruby, Falls and historic Rock City this is your next “home away from home”. We are 15 minutes to downtown Chattanooga and close to all area attractions. The aquarium, various restaurants, You are less than 1 mile from a Walmart. This is the house that love built. The Downer House was built by Jack Downer in 1985 with help from his father and son three generations of carpenters. Jack and his wife Joyce shared many years here making beautiful memories. they wife Joy down a strong belief in family values now their children continue the legacy of the traditional family atmosphere in the “home away from home” at the Downer House. You have a fully furnished kitchen to enjoy cooking at home or have the choice of many fine restaurants throughout the Chattanooga area. You will have access to all the amenities of your own home without the hotel or motel feel of strangers one wall over this is a private home Offering hardwood floors, clean living environment three full bedrooms, dressing room two full bathrooms, a back porch to accommodate the smokers, we look forward to the opportunity of earning your smiles and recommendations
We live right next-door if you have any issues or concerns, we can have them addressed immediately. Otherwise the house is all yours. We truly believe in treating our guests as family
This is a quiet neighborhood located at the foot of Lookout Mountain easily access to the interstate 24 you do not get the noise off the interstate or major highways so it’s quiet and peaceful.
