The innkeeper has been involved in the hospitality industry for over 40 years. His passions included cooking, gardening and entertaining. This provides guests with an environment to enjoy regardless of your choices of how to relax and recharge. Hike, Bike, Ski, Shop or Just sit around on the myriad of porches, patio and seasonal firepit. Gourmet cooked to order breakfasts are provided every morning. Chuck, the innkeeper can provide you with directions or concierge services to insure your time in the Great Northern Catskills is optimized. We forward a list of things to do in a 30 minute, 60 minute or 1.5 hour radius. The inn is centrally located in the mountains surrounded by great scenery, beauty and very close to Hunter mountain for other activities like skiing, riding the sky ride, Mountain biking, Frisbee golf to name just a few.

You can choose the mansions in Hyde Park, the Walkway over the Hudson, Cooperstown and Oneonta, Many Wineries and Breweries abound. Fine dining in award winning area restaurants. We are within walking distance to Hunter Mountain for festivals, theaters and dining nearby. If you are sports oriented or just coming to relax we have many options for your time away.
