The Homestead has been in operation by the Guardiano family for over 30 years and across 3 generations. The house was originally built in 1958 with extensive renovations recently completed. It is now a perfect backdrop for your romantic getaway, girls' weekend, or family vacation. We look forward to hosting you and providing you with a unique experience and exceptional service.

The Homestead is nestled along the coastline of Southern Connecticut in the town of Madison. Our modern accommodations in a quintessential New England town provide easy access to nearby beaches, unique boutiques, and wonderful restaurants. The Homestead is comprised of 10 guestrooms, each with its own private bathrooms. In addition to offering boutique accommodations to guests, we offer full house bookings (for up to 16 guests) for wedding groups, corporate retreats, or family getaways. Several common areas are available to guests including a comfortable living room with a fireplace, dining room, sunroom, and a beauty salon. Our picturesque grounds feature 2 firepits, patios, and a deck along with beautiful gardens, perfect for picnicking.

The Homestead is located in the seaside town of Madison, CT. Nestled along the Connecticut shoreline, our guests enjoy easy access to beaches and state parks. Meander the quaint shops of our downtown area and delight in the extraordinary culinary fare from local restaurants. Just a quick drive away, visit other shoreline villages including Guilford and Old Saybrook. Visiting via train? We are just a short distance from the Amtrak/Shoreline East station with transportation to/from New York and Boston along with easy access to Interstate 95.
