Enjoy a short drive to the Mineola Nature Preserve with paved walking trails, playground and covered pavilion. We are close to several beautiful lakes, historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert) or just stay home and enjoy front porch sitting to appreciate the stars and trees. We are about a 40 minute drive to Canton (home of the First Monday Trade Days) and about 6 miles from the Amtrak station in Mineola. Continental breakfast available upon request (for additional fee).
We live a short distance away and will be available to assist you in any way during your stay, either with the house or with area attractions that are available.
We are located in rural east Texas but there are a few neighbors close by. There is parking available and we are a 10 minute from historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert). We are also within a 15-20 minute drive from Lake Hawkins and Lake Holbrook which both have beach access and Lake Fork which is the “Bass Capital of Texas”.
