Property Marks, LLC is a vacation rental business owned by two long-time friends. We currently have 15 different units available in three different locations. The story of the Property Marks began when the Marks met while working for the same company in Pennsylvania in 1996. Mark P. moved to Florida in 2003 and Mark S. moved to Chicago in 2007, but the two remained good friends. Fast forward to 2018, when Mark P. started renting out the guest room in his personal home. He enjoyed hosting guests so much that he partnered with his old friend to purchase a quadplex in Downtown Melbourne in 2019. We fully remodeled all four units at The Riverview over the next nine months, and they quickly became some of the most popular short-term rentals in Downtown Melbourne. In October 2020, we purchased Tranquility, four oceanfront suites in Melbourne Beach, and in September 2021, we added the historic Crane Creek Inn to our portfolio. Guests staying here during nesting season often report seeing more new turtle nests than people on the beach each day. All of our suites include comfortable King beds, high-speed WiFi, and streaming live TV. The property has two BBQ grills, a hammock, a laundry room, and a seating area with a view of the ocean perfect for enjoying morning coffee or stargazing at night. We also commissioned an incredible sea turtle mural on the wall next to our outdoor shower.

Tranquility is located in the heart of the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge. This 20-mile stretch of beach provides the nesting habitat for approximately 25% of all sea turtles in the United States, with ~20,000 nest being laid here annually. This area is the #1 nesting site in the world for Loggerhead Sea Turtles. Thousands of Greens and a much smaller number of Leatherbacks and the occasional Hawksbill nest here as well. Once you arrive at Tranquility, you will feel like you are staying on a private beach and may not want to leave.
