Charming historic cottage in the heart of German Village. • Walk to Schiller Park, dining & coffee shops (unbeatable location!) • Standalone home with rare privacy • Fenced backyard patio + covered porch • Cozy, design-forward interior • Well stocked kitchen + in-home laundry • Easy access to downtown and OSU, easy access to all of Columbus Quiet brick street, easy parking, and a prime location in Columbus' premier historic neighborhood.
Casey grew up in the country while Dan's been more or less a lifetime city dweller. We met in Columbus and Casey was anxious to share her love of the Hocking Hills region, something that goes back many years. We never dreamt that we'd own a cabin of our own there, but are excited at the chance to host guests at our home away from home, where we go when we need a respite from the hectic day-to-day. We love traveling, having visited France, China, Russia, Ireland, Spain, Greece, The Netherlands, and Mexico over the years, and hope that list continues to grow. Across all of those trips, the hospitality we received was always crucial in shaping our travels and we hope to provide the absolute best to all of our guests.
German Village is known for its charming brick streets, historic homes, and walkable, storybook feel. Guests can easily stroll to Schiller Park, the iconic The Book Loft of German Village, and some of the city’s best restaurants and cafés. Staying in the heart of the neighborhood means everything is just steps away, making it easy to explore without a car. It’s the perfect blend of peaceful retreat and vibrant local living!
