Whispering Woods AK Cabins is a collection of sleeping cabins served by a nearby kitchen/dining and bath house cabin. The kitchen is a complete unit with electric stovetop range, a full sized refrigerator, sink, bagel toaster, microwave oven, and coffee maker. You will find a compliment of cups, dishes, silverware, pots and pans to enjoy your own meals. We offer a shared freezer for fishermen, a BBQ for outdoor cooks, and a fire ring with a swing-around grill for those chilly evenings or just relaxation. There is both inside and outside (under a covered roof) dining areas. We have also added a washer/dryer for our guests to share with housekeeping {detergent is complimentary}. Your sleeping cabins are comfortably arranged, clean, and sanitized between occupancies and the windows are fitted with room darkening drapes to aid in summer "midnight sun" sleeping. The beds are comfortable, well outfitted and each cabin has its own private deck and sitting area. We've added a "mosquito zapper" to help reduce those annoying attacks!

Alaska is our home because we enjoy the outdoors, the rural lifestyle, the wildlife (moose are a common sight here), and the ever present scenic beauty both summer and winter. We also enjoy connecting with our guests but we assume you want enjoy Alaska for yourself so we try to keep our presence to a minimum. This being said, we are always available to help you when needed. Whispering Woods AK Cabins is in the middle of world class fishing whether you are fishing rivers and streams, lakes, or the open waters. We're also just an hours drive either way from the scenic mountains of Cooper Landing or the breathtaking vistas of Kachamak Bay and the artsy community of Homer. Horseback rising, kayaking, hiking, fishing (of course), beachcombing, photography, ATV's or just exploring....we can direct you if you don't already know where you're going. Hit the grocery store before you get here (we suggest in Soldotna or Kenai) to get all your favorite snacks and make Whispering Woods AK Cabins your home while you fish or explore Alaska's true Playground. Whispering Woods AK Cabins is located on an old homestead property. While there are neighbors, you can't see them from our property. With the exception of the hosts personal log home, you will find yourself in the middle of an Alaskan arboreal forest of spruce, cottonwood, birch and aspen trees. Birds frequent our feeders, moose often migrate through the property, and squirrels will no doubt chatter at you from their perches above. Summer sunsets (though well after midnight) are often breathtaking. Peace and quiet is what you'll find at Whispering Woods AK Cabins........well, that and lots of outdoors!
