Gorgeous 6 Bedroom, 4 1/2 Bath Chalet, Sleeps up to 14, Dog-Friendly, Mountain Views, Hot Tub, Fireplace, Finlandian Dry Sauna, Outdoor Fire Pit, BBQ Grill, Spacious Deck, Fully Equipped Kitchen. Whiteface Mountain Chalet sleeps up to 14 people. There are 6 bedrooms, each with king or queen beds. It comfortably sleeps 12 guests in 6 bedrooms, and 2 queen-size foam mattresses are available. All bedrooms boast flat-screen televisions, ceiling fans, oversized closets, warm color schemes, and comfy linens. A pack-and-play is provided for your convenience. All linens are included. Each spacious bedroom has warm, stylish colors and tasteful decor for a luxurious stay. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night's sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment, and spare blankets are available for chilly nights. The home has 3 master ensuite bedrooms! The upper-level has 2 spacious, ensuite bedrooms with King beds and generous closets. A desk is provided in one bedroom. The 3rd upstairs bedroom has a Queen bed and closet. Another large ensuite bedroom is conveniently located on the main level. Downstairs, the 5th and 6th bedrooms each have their own entrance for extra privacy, light, and easy outdoor access. Each of the 4 and a half bathrooms in this amazing chalet are spacious, comfortable, and stylish. The kitchen offers expansive granite countertops and a full complement of tools and appliances. Stools around the granite table area enable your group to eat together while viewing Whiteface Mountain in the distance. Views from the wrap-around deck, an extension of the home's main level, are beautiful. The deck contains a 5-person hot tub, Trex dining table, and chairs. The yard offers plenty of room for enjoying the great outdoors and a fire pit for making s'mores!

Our home is ideally situated in the heart of New York's 6-million acre Adirondack Park. It's just 1.9 miles from the famed Olympic ski resort Whiteface Mountain; a beautiful 15-minute drive from Lake Placid; and steps from hiking trails that vary from relaxed walking beginner trails to expert trails. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 3-minute drive from the chalet. Our home is close to Lake Everest at Wilmington Town Beach, which has boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, weekly live music in summer, and so much more! Lake Placid is a beautiful 15-minute drive from Wilmington along NYS Route 86. Wilmington Notch on the way is breathtaking and has been designated part of the Olympic Scenic Byway. Hiking trailheads and beautiful High Falls Gorge are accessible right from the road! A charming, all-season resort town, Lake Placid boasts a Main Street, unique, locally-owned shops, loads of dining options, sporting and cultural events, a movie theater, mini-golf, and a waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets, delis, and other conveniences.
