New to Booking! Cozy retreat in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains just 37 minutes drive to Kings Canyon National Park and an hour's drive to the entrance of Sequoia National Park. Enjoy stunning 360 degree mountain views from your perfectly situated perch. Peaceful evenings can be spent sipping a beverage on the covered deck as you witness stunning and picturesque sunset views. This property is perfectly peaceful, a great place to recharge and enjoy nights under the vast stars.
Main bedroom boasts a comfortable king bed and bedside tables with easy to access outlets. Living area has a pull out couch suitable for two, and a coffee table. A large flat screen smart TV, free wifi and board games will provide entertainment on quiet, secluded nights in the mountains after a long day hiking in the park. House is clean and comfortable with laminate flooring and mini-split heating and air.
The modest kitchenette includes a sink, air fryer, kettle, flatware, cookware, glassware and complimentary Keurig coffee during your stay. There is a gas grill outside adjacent to the covered deck. A four piece dining set on the deck is a lovely place to enjoy a meal al fresco.
Hello, and welcome to Mystic Mountain Retreat! I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and have lived in California since 1998. Our family has had this hilltop property for over a decade and we have enjoyed it with friends and family for years. The newly remodeled small house is really something special! As a family we love to spend time outside and enjoy all that California has to offer from the coast to the mountains. Hiking, fishing and boating. I think the peace and sense of gratitude you can discover here is magical! Visiting the Big Trees is such a special experience that we recommend to everyone. When we are not working or enjoying the local wilderness with our two kids, we love to travel and enjoy time at guest rentals here and there whenever we can! It's our favorite way to see new places and meet new people. We can't wait for you to discover this beautiful part of the world for yourself!
The small village of Yokuts Valley is just a few minutes drive and has a pizzeria, cute local coffee shop, gas station, dollar store and mini-mart. The Pinehurst Lodge Bar and Grill is a great option, about 16 minutes away in Pinehurst.
