Welcome to the beginning of Woodford Rest! Elizabeth and Matthew purchased a motel property in southern Vermont in the Spring of 2023. They moved from their home in the Pacific Northwest and made their new home in Woodford, VT. We opened our first room in the summer of 2025 and continue to open more as time and money allow. As we are actively renovating the motel, please excuse any construction material outside--it is temporary! Most of our units are developed with separate bedrooms along with living rooms that contain sofa bed(s). All actual beds are photographed and identified in each listing.
Woodford Rest is located in the middle of the Green Mountain National Forest. There is a general store and gas a minute down the road. Prospect Cross Country skiing is also a minute from the motel; we are also located two doors down from a VAST snowmobile access point.
