My life journey as a Nomad Persian is a captivating tale of traversing continents and cultures. Beginning with my departure from Iran in 1978 to the United States for university, followed by significant periods in Greece and New Zealand, my path has been marked by exploration and adaptation. For the past 25 years, Australia has been my chosen home, shared with my Russian partner, referred to affectionately as my "Russian Queen," and my two princesses, my daughters. The decision to open our holiday home to fellow travelers reflects our desire to share the beauty of our surroundings. The recent addition of five studio bungalows nearby, designed for both short-term visitors and long-term residents, underscores our commitment to creating a welcoming community. It's heartening to hear that these accommodations have been well-received, adding to the vibrant atmosphere we've cultivated. My story not only speaks to a life enriched by diverse experiences and global connections but also to a warm hospitality that extends to all who cross our threshold. Directly across from our front gate, a road leads to the summit, offering a challenging yet invigorating morning walk—a perfect way to kick-start your day with stunning views awaiting at the top. Another nearby attraction is Water World, opposite Island Magic, ideal for those seeking aquatic adventures. For coffee enthusiasts, Tana Coffee at the beginning of Devils Point Road serves a robust brew that's not to be missed. , a day trip to Hideaway Island promises delicious food and reasonable prices—you can even catch a glimpse of it from our beachfront. If you fancy exploring town, taxis are readily available and inexpensive. For grocery shopping, Bon Marche, located out of town towards the harbor, boasts an impressive selection, including over 100 varieties of French cheeses. Don't miss the French baker at Tana Plaza—perfect for indulging in their delectable offerings. Lastly, for those seeking ready-made gourmet fare, Traverse Deli near Welco is a hidden gem. Once you discover this spot, cooking at home may become a rare occasion. These local spots and activities provide a glimpse into the vibrant lifestyle we enjoy here, offering both relaxation and adventure right at your doorstep.
