Nadia and Stefan Hartman would like to extend a very warm welcome to you at 3 Lagoon Getaways; our beautiful home in Southbroom, KwaZulu Natal. 3 Lagoon consists of two self-catering family villas, Tranquility and Peace. Southbroom is a safe, beautiful little town, with its own shops and restaurants. It is a luscious green conservancy area with abundant wildlife. Our Tranquility Villa is designed to accommodate six people in three bedrooms (minimum of 4 persons per booking). Peace Villa has the advantage of seclusion from the main compound and benefits from having its own entrance gate and private garden. There is a large lapa deck that contains an integral Jacuzzi that is only available at Peace Villa. These facilities are conveniently accessed via the double doors from the lounge and kitchen making dining and relaxing an easy and enjoyable experience. Both units also have air-conditioning and a dishwasher. Both Villas have been upgraded and are available for rent separately or together if required. Both Stefan and myself reside in 3 Lagoon, with our two sons. So we are on hand should you need any assistance or have any questions. As we are resident all year round, 3 Lagoon remains open all year for long or short term stays. Over the December holidays we have festive decor all over the property, as well as Christmas trees in the Villas. There is an amazing atmosphere in the Southbroom Village over this time; with markets galore, Carols by Candlelight and other events continuously taking place. . We also have inflatable tubes that can be used in the swimming pool, and have numerous games for those rainy days. We truly try to cater for our guests and really look forward to hosting your family.

Welcome to 3 Lagoon Getaways! My name is Nadia Hartman, and my family recently moved down to KZN from Hartbeespoort in the Northwest Province. (2022) We have absolutely embraced living in this paradise: Southbroom. It has a charming community, and we try to get involved where we can; whether it is cleaning up the beaches after a storm, or painting the curbs and decorating the area. I am an artist by trade, and display my paintings in some of the local shops in the surrounding areas. I love cooking and spending quality time with my family.

The village of Southbroom is buried in a tropical paradise and the perfect venue for a relaxed and stress free holiday. The magnificent pristine beaches are lapped by the warm currents of the Indian Ocean. They boast a stillness and tranquility unparalleled anywhere. Protected by shark nets and due to its unique position, Southbroom lends itself well to surfing and snorkeling. The safe clear tidal pools make an ideal place for children to explore, and of course Mum and Dad can join in too! Fishing both onshore and offshore is well catered for. Bring your own tackle and take a leisurely walk along the coast, from our local Umkobi beach to Marina Beach and take advantage of the excellent surf casting. Before leaving on your return journey home, why not enjoy a refreshing beverage at The Riptide Restaurant situated right on the beach, or a sundowner at Sam's Skybar? Southbroom Village also boasts a Quickspar/Tops; Doctors offices; Pharmacy; Vet; Dentist; Nursery; Jewelry shop; Coffee on the Square; incredible restaurants: Flavours, La Tratorria and Hippi Fish; O'Nelly's Pizza Place; a Deli; Bowling Greens; Tennis Courts and Padel Courts; and an extensive sandy beach with ‘Granny’s Pool. Most importantly of course, is one of the most beautiful Golf courses in South Africa- with exquisite views!
