German Bay Lodge was our family home for 25 years and the place for all our Easter and Christmas family holidays. German Bay Lodge offers self-catering accommodation with stunning ocean views along the pristine Eastern Cape coastline. As one of only three homes in the province with direct sea access, guests can step straight from the deck onto the rocks and sand. Perfect for families, friends, or groups, the lodge combines coastal tranquillity with the beauty of the surrounding natural landscape. The house can accommodate up to 12 guests (8 adults and 4 children) and features 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. One bedroom has a king-size extra length bed and sleeper couch while the other 3 have double bed, all have en-suite bathrooms The fifth bedroom contains 2 child-only bunk beds. Linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels. The living area includes a kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area where guests can enjoy meals together after a day of exploring. The TV lounge offers ample comfortable seating, a smart TV with streaming services, and Wi-Fi access. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet sunrise over the waves from the patio with comfortable outdoor furniture, entertaining, or relaxing by the private swimming pool, German Bay Lodge offers a truly unforgettable seaside escape.
