In addition to tourists and those stopping over, we welcome individuals, families and/or small teams that require quiet working and meeting spaces. Our roomsare all non smoking.

Situated in the CBD in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown), our Accommodation is close to key services in town, including the Pepper Grove Mall, many popular restaurants, banking ATMs, health and excercise facilities, is a stone's throw (less than 200m) from Rhodes University, and is close to very good schools. Experience a unique mix of modernity and an antique flair (depending on your room choice) on our property. We have very good internet conectivity.

Treat yourself to shopping in the PepperGrove Mall; site seeing in our tourist town with breathtaking views of heritage buildings such as the 1820 Settlers Monument; the Observatory; the Grahamstown Cathedral and our own legendary 55 New Street, aka The Old House. The town is surrounded by extra-ordinary game farms, some of which have The Big Five.
