It is situated on a residential property where the owners reside. 712 @ Rest is located in a secure Estate next to a trout dam, in the small town of Dullstroom. The suite has its own private entrance and a patio with a table and chairs. The suite comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 shared bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The first bedroom is equipped with a TV with full DStv and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The second bedroom is equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and a microwave. Used cutlery & crockery is taken care of by host. The suite is equipped with free unlimited Wi-Fi. Gas Braai (BBQ) facilities can be arranged. The property is 70 m from a trout dam, and guests have access to 4 free trout fishing day passes. The estate is 1 km from the center of town, with a variety of restaurants, pubs and local shops to choose from. Dullstroom offers nature trails, mountain trails, historical sites, mountain-bike trails, a bird sanctuary, horse and pony rides, and an 18-hole Ernie Els golf course.
We love hosting people as one gets to meet people from all over the world. We also like introducing you to the town and to advise you on what to do, where to go and who to talk to. We also love to tell you about our quaint little town's geography, history and the eccentric characters who lived here and those who live here still. Our reward is the pleasure you get out of visiting here. It is for these and many other reasons that we often have returning guests.
Our estate is in the historical village of Dullstroom known for it hospitality, natural beauty and fly fishing. The town dates back to 1880 and had a significant role in the Second Anglo-Boer War (1899 to 1902) during which time the town was twice burnt down. The estate borders a trout dam. Staying with us, we give you 4 free permits to go fishing (this is worth R600 per day). Our location also gives you access to parkrun, cross-country hikes and historical/battlefield sites.
