Beautiful gardens on your bedroom door step, along side a sparkling blue pool ensure your breakfast is served in a relaxing setting. All parking is safe and secure to aid in our guests peace of mind. Christine and Glynn, the founders and managers of Abalone Guest House since it opened its doors in 2001, will be your host during your stay. Glynn is a keen golfer and loves a quick chit chat. Christine has a green finger and this is evident in her beautiful, flourishing garden.

Summerstrand is the place to be when staying in the friendly city of Port Elizabeth. The blue flagged beaches, and the ever popular Boardwalk entertainment center is with in walking distance of Abalone Guest House. The Eastern Cape has the reputation for being the adventure province of South Africa. For an authentic wildlife South African experience, Addo Elephant Park or Kragga Kamma Game Reserve is a must see. Surfing enthusiasts are encouraged to make the drive down to Jeffreys Bay to experience its legendary waves. Lady Slipper mountain and Groendal Nature Reserve is perfect for the individual who enjoys hiking. Golf lovers will be pleased to know that Humewood Links Golf club is just but a few minutes away from our property.
