Addo River-View Lodge is a water-sport & nature lovers paradise, nestled on the banks of the beautiful Sundays River, in the valley of Colchester. It is the ideal Addo Elephant National Park accommodation, situated a mere 3 kilometers from the Matyolweni or South entrance to the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park and about 40 kilometers from the Port Elizabeth airport.

The village of Colchester is nestled on the banks of the beautiful Sundays River, a few kilometers from the river mouth where it flows into the Indian Ocean through the majestic and world-renowned Alexandria Dune Fields. Only 40 kilometers from Port Elizabeth, this small community is the closest point of entry (5 kilometers) into the Addo Elephant National Park Southern Gate (Camp Matyolweni). The Sundays River is particularly well known for its excellent estuarine fishing, abundant bird life, while water-sports are superb and include almost all water disciplines. Colchester provides visitors with activities such as swimming, canoeing, fishing, ferry rides and so much more. There is a well-stocked supermarket, a BP petrol station and 2 restaurants in the village.
