We are a TGCSA 4 star Guest house located 150 m from Pollock beach and close to restaurant and shops. We manage 2 properties and have owned and managed the Guest House for the past 25 years. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, in house staff training and customer service. Our team has maintained a consistently high standard since the beginning days although we have evolved into a more sophisticated establishment over the years. We are constantly upgrading, maintaining and redecorating to keep up with the high standards of our industry. Our motto is style and simplicity and the comfort and safety of our guests is our top priority.

Property info

My husband, Alan and I started our guest house business by pure chance 23 years ago when a friend suggested we converted our student room which was a separate spare room we had in the house. I was trained as a high school as well as an RAD ballet teacher and Alan had his own wholesale business. At this time I was teaching ballet classes in an upstairs ballet studio which we had built and equipped with sprung wooden floors, bars and mirrors. After much convincing the upstairs ballet studio was converted into 2 luxury spacious rooms which were and still are the Dunes and Waves rooms, and I moved my ballet studio to a church hall. We so enjoyed meeting all the clients as well as everything else about the business so decided to look out for another property and convert the the home into a 7 bedroomed guesthouse. We were extremely fortunate to find our home at Bournemouth street. Just around the corner. We renovated our home and built a fully self contained cottage which is now very popular for long stays and families. A few years later we built our loft suite above the garage which is spacious and has a large deck overlooking an open park to the ocean.

We are located 150 m from Pollock Beach, close to shops and restuarants and the Nelson Mandela Bay University. The Humewood Golf Course is a stones throw from our property and the famous Addo Elephant Game Park is only an hours drive away.
