Coba Röhm, brings nearly four decades of hospitality, leadership and genuine South African warmth to every guest experience.
Affectionately known throughout the tourism and hospitality industry as Mamkhulu or Coach Coba, she began her career in 1987 in the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It was there that she and her husband raised their three children while cultivating a lifelong passion for exceptional hospitality and caring for people.
Her colourful career has taken her to some of South Africa’s most distinguished destinations, including Sheppard Boutique Hotel in Mbombela, Mopanie Bush Lodge overlooking the Mapungubwe landscape, and the spectacular flower fields of Namaqualand. Her hospitality journey has also extended beyond South Africa’s borders to Cairo, Egypt, adding an international dimension to her wealth of experience.
Alongside her hotel career, Coba has built a successful reputation as a corporate leadership coach, working with organisations such as Ford, Toyota, and South32. She has woven this coaching expertise into her hospitality philosophy, creating an environment where guests can not only relax but also grow.

We offer a tranquil bed and breakfast, where six comfortable rooms are nestled among the lush gardens of the beautiful Lowveld. Each room has a private outdoor shower that is absolutely thrilling to use! “Suds in the Sunshine”.
