Moved to Grahamstown in 2012 to simplify our lives and enable our children to attend the wonderful schools here. In my spare time I enjoy painting in oils, particularly portraits. Many of my paintings can be seen in AppleBee Cottages.

Property info

I am passionate about the cleanliness of my cottages and personally check before a guest arrives. I am friendly, believe in the personal touch and have worked at making my cottages homely, comfortable with many added extras to make your stay memorable.

Neighborhood info

Undoubtedly the heartbeat of the Eastern Cape with its rich African and English Settler history, magnificent architecture and beautiful tree-lined streets, Grahamstown offers a variety of places of interest to visit as well as activities for visitors, and is the perfect stop-over for the weary traveller. Surrounded by a number of beautiful day trip destinations, one can visit the seaside towns of Kenton-on-Sea 52 km, Port Alfred 54 km and Bushman's River Mouth 53 km and enjoy their pristine beaches, or the arts and crafts hub of Bathurst 40 km which is the center of the pineapple industry. Travel inland to Addo 97 km, Riebeek East 44 km, Bedford 95 km, Adelaide 82 km and Hogsback 102 km, or visit one of the many malaria-free game reserves on Grahamstown's doorstep.
