Run. Walk. Hike. Fish. Swim. Ride. Breathe. Sleep. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, tucked away in the foothills of Bamboo Mountain, near Underberg. Read a book or explore the mountains and rivers. Swim in the dam or fish for trout. Experience a little piece of heaven! The Giant's Cup hiking trail passes through and alongside property which makes it uniquely accessible to visitors that are looking to hike or trail run in the mountains. Fergie’s Cottage (sleeps 4 pax) that has been recently renovated - it's fairly compact but with two separate bedrooms, a shared bathroom with shower (no bath) and open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The Farmhouse (sleeps 6 pax) is a bit more rustic than Fergie’s but has a spacious living and dining area, outdoor braai space and the BEST views! It has a double bedroom downstairs that sleeps 2 and a loft upstairs that sleeps 4 (one double bed and two singles).

Hi! I'm Barbara - wife of Rick Grantham, son of Dave Grantham, the benefactor of this beautiful property which he left to Rick and his sisters and to their extended families. My boys have grown up here during their holidays and we have an extremely special connection to this wonderful space - having made many memories here over the years - especially with Dave and Nikki (Rick's mum and dad). We would love to share these wonderful surrounds with like-minded individuals who love the outdoors and appreciate a down-to-earth berg experience.

You can easily fish, walk/hike and run from the farm - the farm borders the beautiful Mkhomazi Wilderness Reserve and the famous Giant's Cup hiking trail passes through it. Castleburn - a well known trout fishing and mountain biking destination is just 2km away. Drak Gardens Hotel - with swimming pools, horse riding, zip line and golf course - are 10km away from the farm. Many other iconic hikes (e.g. Rhino and Pillar Cave) can be embarked upon from the Parks Board. Sani Spoors offers a range of mountain bike trails from the Olde Ducke - 18km back to town.
