Our housekeeping and reception staff are all female, which makes caring for a "home", meticulous cleaning, dealing with difficult or demanding guests, anticipating needs, and cooking up a storm a whole lot easier! Due to the nature of our business we do not allow any unauthorized visitors on our premises. The safety of our guests is a high priority where we are obliged to create a calm, peaceful and safe atmosphere. Breakfast are extra at an addition fee of R150 and prior arrangements to be made at reception. Please note: We do charge a R250 fee for extra linen. No additional visitors are allowed on the premises, unless prior arrangements are made with management. Visitors will only be allowed with management discretion and will be strictly controlled. A visitor’s fee will be applicable. No visitors will be allowed between 22:00 and 07:00 the following day. Children, including babies are welcome, but do not stay for free. Check-out is at 10.00 am. A late check-out penalty fee will be applicable at R250 per hour.

Neighborhood info

The seaside suburb of Gonubie lies 8 km north of East London at the mouth of the Gonubie River. Life is slow paced and the beach holiday vibe makes it a hot destination for young families. Kids can easily spend days exploring the estuary and rock pools for little fish, shells and other marine creatures. Gonubie beach boasts Blue Flag status and amazing swimming conditions. Protected by lifeguards, the long beach and small waves are perfect for small kids. The river mouth offers a good launching site for boats or for a bit of fishing. A spectacular walkway along the seashore is ideal for sunset strolls and dolphin or whale watching.
