This lodge is nestled between the Drakensberg Mountains and the Blyde River. It features elegantly decorated rooms that open onto tranquil gardens, where zebras and wildebeests wander by. At the entrance of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, the Blyde River Canyon Lodge features air-conditioned rooms decorated with wood furniture. Each room has a satellite TV and an electric teakettle. An English breakfast is served daily, and the guesthouse’s restaurant provides local dishes for lunch and dinner upon request. Special diet menus are also available. Guests can relax by the outdoor pool or enjoy massage treatments. They can also choose from a variety of activities in the surrounding area, including hot air balloon rides, rafting, horseback riding and hiking. The Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate is a 40-minute drive away, and free public parking is available on site at the lodge.
