Bourne View is a charming house situated in Nottingham Rd in the Midlands of Kwa Zulu Natal. The area is known for its " Midlands Meander" , a route that winds through the rolling hills and offers interesting stops at the Arts and Craft shops. Take a drive to Piggly Wiggly,taste some of the locally brewed beer at the Beer Fassel, or walk, cycle and play golf. The Gowrie Farm Golf course is a mere walk down the road. The area is also a popular Tout Fishing destination and there are many dams into which enthusiasts can cast their lines. Enquire at the fly fishing shop in Gowrie Village. Bourne View is central to all these activities. It is located within the Village , walking distance from Barbz coffee shop, but has the feel of open countryside.
My family have been farming in Nottingham Rd for 5 generations. My parents moved off the farm and built this home when Gowrie Village opened, as they wanted to downscale. I moved away from Notties to follow a golfing career but am happy to share this happy home in my absence.
Nottingham Rd is central to the scenic area known as The Midlands Meander. There are coffee shops , craft shops, pubs, scenic drives, fishing, cycling and more to keep you as busy as you would like to be. It is also a place to kick back and enjoy a rest from a busy life.
