Hosting an accommodation establishment comes naturally for me as it combines all my personal interests. With hospitality industry experience and as a qualified interior decorator, book and art lover the decor of my rooms is my hobby, always trying to improve my guests experience.

Olifantshoek is your ideal stop over town on the N14 enroute to Upington, Kgalagadi and Namibia. Bowden B&B is situated in Olifantshoek, Northern Cape neighbouring the towns of Kathu and Postmasburg.
The premises are situated one block off the N14 and offers quiet and safe accommodation with old time hospitality to guests.
Although Bowden B&B is one of the very first three houses built in Olifantshoek, we offer all modern facilities: Free WiFi, streaming and Smart TV's, air-conditioning and the best coffee. Our eclectic, artsy communal diningroom provides all crockery, cutlery etc for self catering with the added bonus of heaps of atmosphere.
A fridge, microwave and coffee station comes standard with each room.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be booked beforehand.
Safe and secure parking available.
Our focus is rendering excellent service, offeryou.a comfortable and luxurious place to lay your head down after a long drive.

Olifantshoek offer a variety of dinner options such as our local pub and grill, the Kalahari Watergat and our local diner, LJ's for sit down or take-aways.
The Kalahari Hotel offers a Deli Coffee-shop and pub and Koffietjie a unique coffee-shop boasts delicious Cappuccino not to be missed.
We are proud of our OK Minimart whom also offers ready made foods and delicious rib meal take aways.
27km out of Olifantshoek towards Upington you will find 'Die Rooikar Padstal on your righthand side. Such joy to be there, delicious food and coffee as well as interesting farm stall 'stuff..' as crocheted items to be showcased once you are back home. Creative well made tablecloths and other cool stuff for sale form talented local people. The Farm stall also offers home made jams, bottled fruit as well as rusks, cookies and sweets.
