Escape to nature at Brett’s Place, a recently refurbished bushveld getaway located on Zwartkloof Private Game Reserve, 13km from Bela-Bela. This stylish home offers the perfect mix of modern comfort and wild beauty. It is important to note that this is a place to relax and for nature lovers, as no loud music or intoxicated parties are allowed. Self-drive game drives are allowed and it is safe to walk, run or cycle around the estate. There are a few hiking trails too. When not out and about, cool off around the pool, relax with a good book or enjoy something tasty around the braai. Depending on group size, accommodation will consist of The Main House (6-8 sleeper) and/or Guest Chalet (4 sleeper). All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms except for bedroom 4 in the Main House which just has 2 single beds. This is ideal for children who can share a bathroom with their parents. Only 2 bedrooms have aircon, the rest have fans. The Main House offers a spacious lounge, with TV (full DSTV) and dining areas adjacent to a fully-equipped kitchen including dishwasher and top loader washing machine. The Guest Chalet has a smaller kitchenette, and small lounge/dining area also with a TV with full DSTV. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation. Rates are charged per person, with a base rate of 6-guests (3 bedrooms). Children are considered guests and charged as adults. All guests, children and their ages, need to be specified at the time of booking. Only booked guests will be granted access at the security gate and any unused bedrooms will be locked. Children under 9 years are not recommended, unless strictly supervised. Please note, the pool is not fenced in and does not have a pool net.

Brett lives on the property in a separate chalet. You may or may not see him, hopefully he's away fishing somewhere! He is usually always available should there be any queries. Should privacy be important, Brett can always stay elsewhere during the duration of the stay.

Please note there is a Vehicle Conservation Levy of R100 per vehicle. This will be collected by the homeowner either through EFT or cash upon arrival. A Refundable Breakage Deposit is required 5 days before check-in to secure your booking. This will be discussed at the time of booking and can be paid direct to the host. This deposit will be refunded within 7 days of checking out, hopefully without needing to deduct anything. Zwartkloof Private Game Reserve is a private and peaceful eco, nature and wildlife reserve. Rules and regulations are in place to protect the environment, wildlife and property, and to ensure respect and consideration for other homeowners and guests. Please kindly note the following ZPGR HOA rules: No access without presenting valid proof of identification of each guest over 18. No motorbikes, quad bikes, pipe cars, buggies. No pets. No speeding. No access to private stands. No drones. No littering. Do not disturb fauna and flora. No noise, loud music or disturbance to other homeowners is allowed.
