Born in Nelspruit, Mpumulanga I came to Johannesburg in 1992 to study Hotel Management. After a few years in the Hotel industry I spent the next 10 years in Interior Decorating. After leaving the big smoke for a small seaside village, Paternoster, we build up a successful Boutique Guest House. After 11 years it was time to get back in the rat race of Johannesburg where begins my next chapter: B&B on Buckingham. Come and enjoy the journey with me!

Property info

In operation for more than 10 years, we specialise in affordable, well-located accommodation in a sought after part of the city. Our house is fully operational with SOLAR POWER so we are not affected by load shedding! We are the perfect stay over for your business needs. All our rooms have self-catering facilities although we are well known for our fresh breakfast offerings like Home made Muesli, bean to cup coffee and innovative breakfasts. Added to that are Smart TV'S, wifi fibre network at 100mps download and upload speeds and work desks in each room. We are 10-15 minutes' drive from all Johannesburg's key business and entertainment nodes of Hyde Park (2.5km), Rosebank (3.4km) and Sandton (7km), yet are in a leafy, restful suburb dating back to 1904.

We have great neighbourhood food shops within a 2 minute walk, such as a supermarket, veggie shop, chemist and an Authentic Italian restaurant, Vibey Tapas bar and an Asian Take-away. We also have other trendy bistros in our street, and great facilities like spas, hairdressers, postal and business services as well. Close by (4 minutes' drive) is , Parkurst, Jo'burg's funky 'little Chelsea', a wonderful shopping and foodie street with bars, craft beer outlets, high end shopping and health and beauty services.
