My husband and I are both professional people, I am an accountant and he is a town planner, now brew master. We have been residents of Vryheid for many years and Erhard, because of his work as strategic planner knows the Northern Natal are very well. We love it here and we look forward to share our little piece of earth... and beer with others :)

Property info

Cadle house is one of the historic buildings of our town and we are very proud to be the owners of this Grand Dame. High ceilings, thick walls and lots of lovely wooden floors and bay windows is what you will find set in a garden of the most wonderful trees. We are lovingly trying to restore her to her former beauty and has started with the guest cottages where our guest will reside. Albeit seperate from te house, Cadle House will, in the near future also be the home of Vryheid's first craft brewery, Battelfieds Breweries.

Neighborhood info

Cadle House is right in the center of town, but due to the large garden and big trees one does not realize it. Pick and Pay is right across the road to quickly buy something to braai if it slipped your mind to arrange with us. There are some nice game reserves in the vicinity and we are on the Battlefields route, of cause.. Vryheid is also a great alternative stop over on route to Sodwana and Mozambique from Gauteng.
