The camp is thoughtfully laid out across three stone-and-thatch chalets, a separate kitchen and dining building, and a comfortable lounge space — allowing groups to spread out while still coming together in shared areas. Natural materials, warm interiors, fireplaces, and outdoor living spaces create a sense of understated comfort that blends seamlessly with the surrounding bush.
Wildlife such as giraffe, zebra, kudu and impala move freely through the conservancy and are often seen from the pool, decks, or pathways around camp. With no shared spaces and no other guests, Camp Acacia offers a rare sense of seclusion — ideal for families and small groups looking to slow down, spend quality time together, and experience the Eastern Cape bush in a peaceful, authentic way.

Camp Acacia is located within a private 300-hectare conservancy bordering Amakhala Game Reserve, in a peaceful, malaria-free part of South Africa’s Eastern Cape. The area is known for its wide open landscapes, rich birdlife, and relaxed safari atmosphere — far removed from busy towns and crowds.
Guests love the sense of space and freedom here. Wildlife such as giraffe, zebra, kudu and impala roam freely through the conservancy, making it possible to enjoy game viewing on foot or from camp itself. The absence of Big 5 animals allows for safe walking and cycling, which many guests find especially appealing.
