Lovely log home with open plan living area, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large deck. Sleep 7, free Wi-Fi & DSTV, gas barbecue. Parties are unfortunately not allowed. You’ll love the house because it is rustic and homely, clean and fully furnished. Being able to see the horizon in all directions around you, the house feels like a cozy lookout post. It makes most of its vantage point with a large deck at the front facing the ocean and a smaller deck at the back overlooking the interior with the Gamtoos river valley and the Cockscomb mountain on the horizon. With less than 200 meters walking distance from the soft sandy beach, you always hear the ocean and can fully enjoy the sea while being at home. Walk, swim or fish for 10 kilometers up to the Kromme River mouth at Cape St Frances. It is suitable for couples, business travellers and families. It is close enough to Jeffreys Bay while you can relax in the peace and quiet of Paradise Beach. This is where whales swim up from Antartica to give birth in winter and pods of dolphins swim past. There is no better place to watch out for them than the deck of this lovely log home-bring your binoculars

A handful of small roads run through a quiet cluster of homes that sit over sand dunes and a broad stretch of golden sand. Surf, swim, fish or walk all the way to St Frances Bay in the distance. Almost every surfer knows about the legendary waves of Jeffreys Bay and the major international competition that takes place during winter, but the quieter coast of Paradise Beach, a bit out of town and across a causeway, was less well known, until CNN Travel listed this beach as one of the best beaches to visit in 2018. The neighbourly spirit of Paradise Beach is one of the charateristics that caught the attention of the CNN team. The surfing here is still great with mainly residents riding the waves, walking their dogs and jogging along this golden stretch of sand.
