The large property is set amongst the trees and is frequented by bush buck, duiker and of course monkeys. We have a resident genet who comes to visit at night. Bird life is prolific with fish eagles, crown eagles, woody neck storks being amongst some of the visitors. We are within walking distance of the beautiful unspoilt Clansthal beach.
We are situated in the quiet conservancy of Clansthal very close to the famous Aliwal Shoal and all the dive centres, less than 5km from Ocean Dive Centre and Aliwal Dive Centre. SharkXcursion Cage diving is also close by. Croc World with its famous 100 year old crocodile Henry is 4km away. TC Robinson Nature Reserve is 7km away and Rocky Bay Hiking Trails and Shark cage diving is 13km away. Vernon Crooks Nature Reserve is close and Tala Game Reserve is a short journey away. Scottburgh main beach is 7km away. The mall is less than 8km away. Plenty of excellent golf courses are close by namely Umkomaas, Scottburgh and Selbourne. The new padle courts are close 7km away at the Scottburgh Country Club. The Lazy Moose restaurant is just across the main road and Scottburgh is host to some very good restaurants and pubs.
