47 & 48 & 31Eden Wilds AKA The Duck's House Nestled on the banks of the Umtamvuna River in Port Edward, KZN, Eden Wilds is a resort which offers R&R for adults & fun for the kids. Eden Wilds borders the Umtamvuna Nature reserve which offers various walking/hiking trails. For the boating enthusiasts ,the river is ideal for wakeboarding, skiing, tubing,canoeing & SUPing. Boats & Jetskis can be launched at The Pont & then moored on the Eden Wilds jetty. Activities: Fishing off the jetty Catch & release fishing on the dam Swimming pool, incl a kids pool Club house with braai facilities Pool table Volleyball net Bird watching Children's play area with jungle gym & swings Feeding the local ducks, peacocks and storks (children love it!) On occasion buck visit Eden Wilds from the nature reserve Walking/Hiking trails Unit 47 & 48 &31 are self catering ground floor units which are situated a mere 15m from the dam. All linen is provided. Please bring your own bath & beach towels & loo paper. Built-in braai facilities are provided . Maid service is available for an additional fee Eden Wilds offers 24-hour security.
We have owned Unit 47 AKA "The Duck's House" since 2006 & acquired Unit 48 in May 2019 and unit 31 in April 2022. It is our home from home. We wanted to share our fun experiences of fishing, boating, feeding the geese and just relaxing, with friends and family...and now with you, our Booking. com guests. We not a 5 star establishment, but the experience can far exceed 5 stars.
