Well worth a meander in the beautiful and evocative Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, this stunning country lodge, masterfully crafted in wood and stone, is just a few minutes from the busy N3 Freeway, and a world apart from the chaos and cares of the city. Set in expansive grounds, overlooking tall trees and a dam, FarSide oozes old-world graciousness and charm, combined with a certain quirkiness of spirit that is evident in the name alone. The accommodation is luxuriously comfortable, and the bedroom fittings include an inviting ball-and-claw bath for that extra touch of indulgence. A leisurely breakfast, warmly prepared and served with a smile, adds the B to the B that makes the FarSide such a welcoming pleaure for a short or lingering stay on the way to or from the coast.

We are located in an area of extraordinary natural beauty. We are also immersed in considerable local and regional history. World famous battles were fought on our doorstep. We are surrounded by the renowned Midlands Meander which gives the traveler a wealth of exciting things to experience. Arts, crafts, food and exhilarating activities.
