Fields Rest guest house offers 2 comfortable and well equipped rooms a stones throw from the airport. We have a front courtyard bed and breakfast style room with semi-self catering facilities, and a larger full self catering garden cottage. The courtyard room has a desk for working and plenty of cupboard space. The cottage has a semi-open plan bedroom / lounge with a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is very private with its own garden patio. In both rooms we provide a quality double bed and bedding. There is Dstv (full) and free WiFi in both rooms. Guests can relax outside their rooms or braai in the garden. During summer the swimming pool is a must. If you desire, order a light breakfast (juice, fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal, toast, and coffee or tea) or a full cooked breakfast. Please inquire. We are located within a kilometer of many popular restaurants, and only 5 minutes to the beachfront. Our terms and conditions of occupation apply. Should you wish to have visitors on site during your stay please request our T&C and visitors policy beforehand. Looking for a larger deluxe unit...try us at Field's Rest: The Apartment.

Walmer is the vibrant heart of Port Elizabeth, the link to the beachfront and its entertainment venues, the link to city's sports stadiums and major shopping centres. Walmer itself one of Port Elizabeth's historical suburbs with many old homes and tree lined streets. A mix of quite suburbia and busy city life it is renown for its restaurant and coffee shop life. Whether you want to visit Walmer Park shopping center or are looking for a specialized shop Walmer has it all. We will be happy to advise you on places to go and things to do in Port Elizabeth.
