If you're looking for a restful retreat, search no longer, this is the place. Peace & quiet, birds singing and regularly visits from flamingos and baboons! You will enjoy the privacy of your upstairs flat with a view to die for. The lake is part of a nature reserve and is therefore not accessible for boats and or swimmers, but you will have facilities close by for this. You have your private entrance, and some shared facilities like laundry room and pool. A small bbq upstairs on the balcony, but if you wish, and in agreement with owners, you're welcome to use the bigger fire pit in the garden. We're pet friendly, but please kindly notify in advance what kind of fur baby you're bringing with you so that we can provide bowls and a dog mattress if needed. You can sleep mozzie free under the mosquito net, and the property has back-up power for wifi, so you'll be online even if there's a power cut. A 20-minute walk will bring you to the beloved Imhoff Farm where you can find numerous restaurants, a deli, bkery and various shops. You can also reach Noordhoek and Kommetjie beach using this same path. This property is not for party goers, but for people enjoying peace & quiet, yet with numerous restaurants and shops close by. There are two friendly non-barking dogs living downstairs who might come say hello when you're at the pool, as will my cats. Please let me know if you are allergic so I can make sure they behave :)

Imhoff's Gift is your quiet and crime free enclave offering gorgeous mountain and lake views. It's a small neighbourhood about 3 minutes by road from Kommetjie and its beaches, 10 minutes from Noordhoek as well as Fischhoek. The local mall (Longbeach Mall) with numerous supermarkets and clothes shops as well as beauticians, hairdressers etc, is 10 minutes away. From Cape Town airport I would count 45 to 50 minutes, but of course during rush hour this can be longer. An Uber ride from the airport or central Cape Town, is usually around 20 USD. Legendary scenic drive Chapmans Peak is about 15 minutes away, and Houtbay 20 minutes.
